Renowned Ken Allinson leads this 2hr walk around the building landscape of Greenwich.
We begin this fascinating tour at 11am at Island Gardens Park with its marvellous view of Greenwich.
During the walk Ken will show us that in contrast to the varied residential housing that has sprung up along the Thames between Tower Bridge and Greenwich in the last couple of decades, the landscape containing the striking former military and naval buildings at Greenwich itself looks pretty much as it did when it was painted by J.M.W.Turner in 1809.
Following the tour, you will be rewarded with a magnificent meal at the traditional Trafalgar Tavern, a restaurant right on the River Bank, next to the Old Naval College.
